Random Tuesday Thoughts

Sweet. It’s Tuesday. Random thoughts are all I’m capable of today, I think.

When you’re done here, make sure you head over to Keely’s for all the other randomness.

Working night shift this weekend totally kicked my ass. Not the shifts themselves, which were totally fun and mostly easy. It was the staying up all night that got me. Even though I slept some during the day, I still don’t feel quite like myself today.

Which is why all I’ve managed to do is clear out my google reader and make a to-do list.

There’s a Stargate: SG1 marathon on SyFy today. This is not helping with my motivation.

I really, really need to wash my car. It’s completely disgusting.

I’ve pretty much decided I’m moving over to wordpress. I intended to just sorta look into it, but I was quickly wooed by the threaded comments, picture captions, and how I have more control over the layout.

Now seems like a good time for this change. I think a new look and feel will give me the energy I need to finally start doing something with these ideas for posts and features that I’ve been kicking around. The catch is that I may not feel like posting anything until the move happens. I guess we’ll see.

Speaking of change and having more energy, tomorrow I’m going to start working out, drinking more water, following my IBS diet, and all that other stuff we’re supposed to do. For like the millionth time.

Lately, I’ve been reading all my blogs in google reader, and not visiting or leaving comments. Sorry about that. I have no excuse for myself, other than laziness. That’s something else I’m going to work on, starting tomorrow.

But blogger is so easy and we're like all linked together (in my mind) and I'll have to add a new link to my following thingy.

I'm totally pouting if you can't tell.

I know! I do feel sad about losing the "following" thing with blogger.

But, you shouldn't have to change your link. That'll still be the same. I don't understand how, but my husband does…

I love WordPress… If you're serious about blogging, you should be using WordPress. I look at so many serious bloggers still using Blogspot and I wonder, why?

I'm talking about people who hope to use their blog to generate money – and could do it easily with better themes and more control.

Looking forward to whatever you come up with. ;o)

OH – But also – post here before you make the switch, b/c I simply "follow" you in my Google reader and I would need to add a subscription to your domain when the switch takes place. That's something you'll want to keep in my mind while making the switch – you'll want to link from blogspot to the new domain for a bit, and keep reminding Google readers to update their subscriptions, probably for a few weeks when the switch begins.

I love Wordpress too, it kicks arse. Night shift does suck, I worked overnight for three years and I was a zombie the entire time. Not an actual zombie…

I'm "officially" representing Keely today…consider her represented. So I'm day late but I'm trying!

Ohhhh I have a long list of things I'm going to start "tomorrow" too. One of them is wash my car too and start a diet… at least I got around to commenting ona few new blogs! ;)
