The reason you go by your last period is because for lots of people, they don't know when the actual date of conception/ovulation was. I mean, if you aren't super involved/tracking your fertility process, it makes sense. <br/><br/>right? Anyway. The reason you go by your last period is because for lots of people, they don’t know when the actual date of conception/ovulation was. I mean, if you aren’t super involved/tracking your fertility process, it makes sense.

I would have actually conceived sometime between Feb 12- 14. Which would make me like 10 or 12 days along. But they start counting from the day of the last period, when I was clearly NOT pregnant.
