So, we’re supposed to do an end of the year post? Is this what I hear?
This isn’t a resolution post. For one thing, I don’t usually make them. I’m just going to keep working on the things I’ve talked about in my last few posts.
Did anyone even read those? Is anyone even reading [...]

I think instead of excuses and a long explanation about where I’ve been, I’ll just sum it up like this: I’ve been busy, bitches!
Have I mentioned that moving is a lot of work? And we have a lot of stuff? So, I’ve been a cleaning, unpacking and sorting machine for the last few weeks.
Then there [...]

In the interest of saving some money, and because my husband is only slightly fonder of leaving the house than I am, we stayed in and cooked for our anniversary.
It was so delicious, I can’t wait for it to be dinnertime again so I can have leftovers. I figured that meant I should probably share [...]

In case I haven’t mentioned it on twitter and facebook enough, my birthday is tomorrow. I tweeted something about the holiday season almost being upon us, and that by holiday season I meant my birthday.
I wasn’t exactly kidding. Early November really is when the “holidays” start for us, but they start with his birthday, which [...]

I swear I start every post lately with an apology and an explanation about where I’ve been.
Once again, the answer should be no surprise. I’ve been unpacking and organizing, all while dealing with a moderate IBS flare-up. Which is kind of why I haven’t written – I’ve had things to say but not the time [...]

Holy crap, moving is a lot of work.
After a week and a half in the new place, we’re “functional” but that’s about it. By functional, I mean there’s soap and shampoo in the shower and we can usually locate clean towels and underwear. I can cook easy things that don’t require fancy pots or utensils. [...]

You may have noticed that I stopped “following” your blog recently. It just got too confusing to have a Blogger profile when I’m using wordpress now.
Also, there seemed to be some sort of hitch with the blogs I was following actually making it into my google reader so that I could, you know, read them. [...]

I suppose since it’s been ten days I should post a little something.
Sadly, with the mood I’m in now, it might end up being less… positive than I would like.
Whatever, y’all know how I roll by now, right?
I had my yearly ob/gyn appointment on Tuesday, which was also a “let’s figure out just how fucked [...]

This has been quite the week for us.
We’ve been looking for a rental to move into for almost two weeks now, and it’s very slow going. Last Wednesday we went to look at a duplex that was perfect. It’s the bottom half of a house that has been remodeled, so the rooms are big, plus [...]

It’s not very often I feel compelled to write a rant, but this Roman Polanski business has me fired up. Not the business of him getting arrested, because that is long overdue. The business of people making excuses for him and defending his actions. I really cannot believe some of the things I read or [...]
